Gaza does not see an alien name anymore. Our nandigram seems to be the New Gaza right in our Heart. Palestine destiny and the suffering of nandigarm People are unified at the same point to defend the Corporate Imperialism represented by regemented Marxist ruling Gestapo Hegemony in West Bengal!!
The event that has shocked the nation for the last few weeks is a real shame, not only for all bengalis living in West bengal but for every existing human being. The fight for one's right to live seems to be a curse in Nandigram. Its not about a fight between Buddhadev or Mamta nor between Trinamul or CPI(M),its about a fight between a race called Human Being and Politics.
I, am a democratic citizen of this nation and I feel ashamed to tell anyone that we have leaders like Buddhadev,Mamta,Modi,Lalu and so on, infact the list is endless. There was a time when when every Indian looked up to leaders like Subhas Chandra Bose,Gandhiji,Nehru with pride. Today every political face is fake every politician has a hidden agenda, all of them are like vampires waiting for a single opportunity to ooze out blood from this nation.
Coming back to the Nandigram massacare, I know every one is very well aware of the extrocities happening there for the past few weeks. Mamta Banerjee shouting (as usual) on every channel that its the opposition party who is doing all these killing and on the other hand we see Buddhadeb giving comments like "What I am simply saying is that they were paid back in their own coin,”. I am not justifying that Mamta is good and Buddhadeb is bad but what I want to know is that between all this "Media War" and "Publicity Stunts" why should a poor common man living in Nandigram lose his life and land???
There are almost 800 families who are staying in relief camps for the last 9 months, without basic amenities. Providing a person two square meals (rice, dal and 1 vegetable) does not compensate for depriving them of their basic necessities. The West Bengal government thinks that they are doing a favour by providing them food. But how inhumane is it, to not provide them with medical facilities doctors and hospital .
Exiled from their home these people are helpless. Is this the way a government should handle this situation. This is the same government which has ruled Bengal for the last 30 years and this is the manner they repay the people who have shown them endless faith and loyalty .
Perhaps for the first time in the past 30 years the Left Front has been in power in West Bengal, one issue has created such serious differences betweenthe CPI(M) and the junior constituents.Strong-worded resolution adopted after an emergency meeting of the RSP, CPI and Forward Bloc said: "We don’t approve of the politics of violence and revenge. The situation in Nandigram has become alarming due to the resurgence of violence, which we are totally opposed to. The CPI(M) alone is responsible for this unfortunate turn of events."
The media was denied entry into Nandigram during the days of violence, according to Bhattacharjee this was a mere professional hazard. Despite the criticisms, the Chief Minister has put his official seal of endorsement on the move made by his party cadres to recapture lost ground in Nandigram at gunpoint. And he blamed the Centre for not being able to avoid such a situation. It's an eye for an eye principle that the Marxist chief minister has promoted.CPM used their Cadres — local criminals mostly involved in dacoity cases — for the operation and they were drawn from Chandrakona and Garbeta zonal committees. Cadres were sent from Narayangarh and Keshiary areas. Another group of around 250 armed CPM supporters and criminals came from the villages of Punishol at Onda and Rajpur,Taldangra in Bankura. This is what has been told by Moni Shaw a 21 year old girl who was trapped in between a bridge of bullet fires and bombs "Our leaders told us that (Chief Minister) Buddhadeb(Bhattacharjee) has declared a ceasefire, no one willattack us anymore. But as we approached Maheshpur, CPM cadres shot at us from both sides of the road. They hurled bombs, trapping us in between. I tried to run but suddenly I felt a searing pain and fell. Before I passed out, I saw my neighbour Harun, his entrails were out,".
Since yesterday there is something new that has been happening in Nandigram, the people who have been earlier thrown out are now allowed to enter their home (just imagine we have to take permission from our neighbours to enter our own house,I really pity the state of affairs)but they have to put a Red Flag on top of their house to show their support for the government .If someone is not ready to do so,then you can well imagine the consequences for the same. And we call ourselves a "Independent Democratic Nation".
On the other hand the political drama is at an all time high. On one hand we see Mamta (so called Didi by her chelas) howling for an indefinate strike in Bengal and the very next day Buddhadeb Babu calling for another bandh on Wednesday. I simply cannot understand how a strike or so called Bandh(in bengal) helps the people of Nandigram. Will someone can tell these Didi's and Babu's that its they who need to go for a bandh rather then Bengal. And maybe that will really help in improving the condition in Bengal.
In my entire article I have been expressing my opinion about the sad state of affairs in my own state Bengal, but few other states are in a much worse situation than Bengal.Undoubtly Gujrat and not to forget Bihar, are in the same soup. So its not only a problem of a few states but its a real problem of our Nation.
Nandigram is fully converted into huge battle field. Daily Nandigram local CPM leaders send a note to the CM "We have taken hundred heads today." The CM reads these notes before going to sleep and replies "Hundred heads are not enough."
Nandigram - Welcome to Valley of Death.
